Description

Mother’s Haven is a retail shop that has specialized in supporting new parents for 8 years. At the shop you can come and participate in a number of support groups,like groups for working moms, nursing moms, moms of multiples, moms of newborns and moms of toddlers. We discuss everything. We laugh, cry and get great tips from each other. We also create lifelong friendships.
This online group, Mother’s Haven Moms, was designed to create that same kind of support to families when coming into the shop is not an option. We will keep you informed of new products and services we offer as well as share our team of pregnancy and baby professionals with you to help you when you need it.

News

New to Mother’s Haven!

We are now open until 8pm every Wednesday.

We heard from many moms that our hours, being closed at 5pm during the week, has made it hard to get to the shop to get the things they need. We started the extended hours on Wednesdays a few weeks ago and it has not quite caught on yet.

Do you think the extended hours are a good thing?

Will you pass on the word so other moms know of the change?

    Sorry we have not posted a blog in awhile. Things have been busy at Mother’s Haven. We just got back from the big ABC Trade Show is Las Vegas. There were over 3,500 different businesses that sell infant and baby products at the show this year. 3,500! That is a lot of walking! It is a very exciting place with the most amazing people and products. Almost every product we sell in our shop, we found during one of these trade shows.
    This year we found some new fun stuff. From tons of great things regarding cloth diapering to some of the nicest stylish baby bags we have ever seen. We cannot wait to show you!
    The new products are on their way. We will keep you posted as they arrive.

    We took Sarah’s signing class last May at it has been one of the best investments we’ve made into our parenting relationship. It took a some time to catch on but after about 2 mo (he was 14 mo.) he started signing all sorts (we’ve made up alot of our signs for things around the house). It has made communication so much easier and less frustrating.
